These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of WriteWave Books at shop.writewaveco.com, including our eBooks, customer accounts and related digital services. The Website is operated by WRITEWAVE PRIVATE LIMITED (“WriteWave”, “we”, “us” or “our”). By using the Website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Company Information

WRITEWAVE PRIVATE LIMITED, GST No. 06AAECW5463A1ZJ, registered at Shope LG-31A, Next Door, BPTP Sector 76, N.T.P.C./Sector-10, Faridabad, Ballabgarh, Haryana, India 121004. Contact: business@writewaveco.com; phone: 88978354.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

  • You must be legally capable of entering into a binding contract. Users under 18 may use the Service only with the involvement and consent of a parent or lawful guardian.
  • You must provide accurate, current information and keep it updated.
  • You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for activity under your Account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
  • One Account is for the use of its registered customer and may not be sold, transferred or shared to distribute purchased content.

3. Product Information and Availability

We aim to describe each eBook accurately, including title, author, format and price. Cover images and previews are illustrative. Minor differences in formatting, pagination or cover presentation may occur between devices or editions. Availability may change, and we may correct listing, pricing or catalogue errors before delivery or refund an affected order.

4. Orders, Prices and Payments

  • An order is accepted when payment is confirmed and access to the eBook is made available, unless we notify you otherwise.
  • Prices are displayed in Indian rupees. Applicable taxes will be included or shown during checkout as required.
  • Payments are handled through authorised third-party payment providers. Their additional terms may apply.
  • We may refuse or cancel an order where payment fails, fraud is suspected, a material pricing error occurred or the content is unavailable. Any amount successfully received for a cancelled order will be returned through the original payment method.

5. Digital Delivery

eBooks are delivered digitally to your registered Account, email address or another method shown at checkout after successful payment. No physical item will be shipped. Delivery time may be affected by payment confirmation, maintenance, internet connectivity or third-party services. Please contact us if access is not provided within a reasonable time.

6. Licence for Purchased eBooks

Your purchase gives you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and read the eBook for personal, non-commercial use. Ownership of copyright is not transferred to you.

Unless expressly authorised in writing, you may not copy, upload, share, lend, sublicense, sell, redistribute, publicly display, publish, translate, adapt, extract substantial portions from, remove rights-management information from, bypass access controls on, or commercially exploit an eBook. Reasonable personal-device use is permitted only to the extent supported by the Service and the relevant file licence.

7. Refunds and Cancellations

Because eBooks are digital products made available promptly after payment, orders generally cannot be cancelled or refunded after access or download has been provided. Exceptions and the request process are set out in our Refund & Cancellation Policy. Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory rights available under applicable consumer law.

8. Acceptable Use

You must not misuse the Website, interfere with its security or operation, attempt unauthorised access, introduce malicious code, scrape or harvest data without permission, impersonate another person, use fraudulent payment details, or use the Service for unlawful or infringing purposes.

9. Intellectual Property

The Website design, branding, software, text, graphics, cataloguing material and other site content are owned by or licensed to WriteWave. eBooks and their covers remain the property of the relevant authors, publishers or other rights holders. Use is governed by these Terms and our Copyright and Content Policy.

10. Reviews and User Content

If reviews or other submissions are enabled, you remain responsible for what you submit. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce and display that content for operating and promoting the Service. You must not submit unlawful, misleading, abusive, confidential or infringing content. We may moderate or remove submissions that violate these Terms.

11. Suspension and Termination

We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to address fraud, security risks, chargebacks, infringement, unlawful conduct or a material breach of these Terms. Where appropriate, we will provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue. Provisions concerning licences, intellectual property, liability and disputes survive termination.

12. Disclaimers and Liability

The Service is provided on an “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that every eBook will work with every device or application. You are responsible for checking stated format requirements and maintaining a compatible device and internet connection.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, WriteWave is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from use of the Service. Our aggregate liability relating to a purchased eBook will not exceed the amount you paid for that item. These limitations do not exclude liability or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including mandatory consumer rights.

13. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal data are described in our Privacy Policy.

14. Third-Party Services and Links

The Website may use or link to third-party payment, analytics or other services. We do not control third-party websites and are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. Your use of those services may be subject to separate terms.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms for legal, security or business reasons. The revised version will be posted with a new effective date. Material changes may be communicated through the Website or by email where appropriate. Changes apply prospectively unless law requires otherwise.

16. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. The parties should first attempt to resolve disputes through our grievance process. Subject to any mandatory consumer-forum or statutory jurisdiction, courts of competent jurisdiction in Faridabad, Haryana will have jurisdiction.

17. General

If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These Terms, together with the policies linked here and any checkout-specific terms, form the agreement governing the Service.
